Polycrystalline fiber blanket is the latest ultra-light high-temperature refractory fiber at home and abroad. It is one of the entire Al2O3-SiO2 ceramic fibers. The Al2O3 content in the fiber is more than 70%. The use temperature is 1500-1700℃. It has high refractoriness, tensile strength, corrosion resistance, and excellent thermal stability without slag.
It is used in various high-temperature industrial kiln insulation; ceramic kilns; mechanical and metallurgical heating furnaces; heat treatment furnaces and other industrial kiln hot surface linings; high-temperature fire and flame barriers; kiln doors, kiln cars, expansion joints, and other insulation materials; glass kiln insulation.

Polycrystalline mullite fiber blanket features

A polycrystalline fiber blanket has strong thermal stability and is suitable for environments with frequent hot and cold changes. It can be used at temperatures of 1500~1600℃. It has lower thermal conductivity, more obvious insulation and energy-saving effects, excellent resistance to acid and alkali, metal vapor corrosion, and long service life.

The customer initially used traditional ceramic fiber blankets, but during long-term high-temperature operation, problems such as thermal flouring, insulation attenuation, and large furnace temperature fluctuations occurred.
