The acid-resistant brick has the characteristics of high acidity resistance, low water absorption, not easy to oxidize at room temperature, and not easy to be polluted by the medium. Except for hydrofluoric acid and hot phosphoric acid, it has excellent corrosion resistance to wet chlorine, brine, hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, nitric acid, and alkalis of any concentration at room temperature. We have two types: acid-resistant bricks and acid-resistant tiles.

Application of acid-resistant bricks
Acid-resistant bricks are widely used in industries such as petroleum, químico, pharmaceutical, food, papermaking, fertilizer, pesticide, chemical fiber, textile, smelting, and power plants, as well as the anti-corrosion lining of towers, pools, tanks, and troughs. They also play an acid-resistant and anti-corrosion role in sewage treatment projects and open-air work sites.
Five precautions for the use of acid-proof bricks
- Type matching: Different acid-resistant bricks have different usage environments. Some are acid-resistant, some are alkali-resistant, and some are dedicated to sulfuric acid pools. Different types match different usage environments. Pay attention to the selection of acid-resistant brick types
- Qualified quality: Acid-resistant bricks face complex usage environments and require high-quality products to have a long service life.
- Reasonable construction: The acid resistance of the glaze should be higher than that of the cross-section. The cross-section should be well protected, and sodium water glass or potassium water glass should be used to seal the bricks.
- Avoid hard collisions: Especially when used in galvanizing pools, avoid iron damage to acid-resistant bricks and reduce their service life.
- Timely cleaning: When replacing acid-resistant pool materials, be sure to clean them thoroughly to avoid material reactions in the pool and reduce the service life of acid-resistant bricks.
