Description of Ferrosilicon Alloy
Ferrosilicon is a ferroalloy composed of iron and silicon. Ferrosilicium is a ferroalloy made of coke, steel shavings, quartz (or silica) as raw materials and smelted in an electric furnace.
It is often used as a deoxidizer in steelmaking, and can also be used as an alloying element additive. It is widely used in low-alloy structural steel, spring steel, bearing steel, heat-resistant steel and electrical silicon steel. It is used as inoculant and nodulizer in the iron industry. And it is used as reducing agent in ferroalloy production and chemical industry.
