The raw material composition of sillimanite bricks
Sillimanite bricks are made of sillimanite, andalusite, and sintered mullite as the main raw materials, with some ultrafine powder and binder added, and are formed by high-pressure molding or vibration pressure molding, and fired in a tunnel kiln. The firing temperature is 1390~1400℃, and the heat preservation time is 10~16h. The proportion of sillimanite bricks: 30%~40% sillimanite, 35%~55% andalusite + mullite, 10%~15% special grade alumina, and 5%~10% raw clay.
Application of sillimanite refractory bricks
Sillimanite refractory bricks are mainly used for forming flow holes in glass tank kilns, blast furnace linings, furnace throats, and ceramic industrial kiln furniture.

Refractory: The refractoriness of sillimanite bricks is high, generally between 1770-1830℃.
Load softening temperature: The load softening temperature of sillimanite bricks is generally between 1500-1650℃.
Thermal shock resistance: Sillimanite bricks have good thermal shock resistance and can withstand large temperature changes.
Corrosion resistance: Sillimanite bricks have good corrosion resistance and can withstand the erosion of various acidic and alkaline substances.
