Tabular corundum

Tabular corundum can be used as the main component in aluminum-carbon, aluminum-magnesium-carbon, magnesium-aluminum-carbon, magnesium-spinel, and aluminum-chromium refractory bricks. It can also be introduced as an enriched alumina component into high-aluminum monolithic refractory materials. It can be widely used in the steel, casting, ceramics, and other industries. Its application in the steel industry almost covers the entire process of iron and steel making.

Features of tabular alumina corundum

1.High purity
Al₂O₃ content exceeds 99%, with very few impurities, high temperature resistance and corrosion resistance.

2. Dense structure
After sintering at 1950℃, it has low porosity, high volume density and strong permeability resistance.

High temperature resistance and thermal shock resistance
It can withstand temperatures exceeding 1850℃, has a stable structure, good thermal shock resistance, and is not easy to break after repeated heating.
